I call it: Last Reminder!

“Let me tell you a story... about a girl who hid everything, and a boy who never came closer.”

I met this girl, whose mind flew off the sky and dreamt that one day her prince charming would finally find her. A girl who had big fantasy but so little courage in her mind. She lived with a super-ordinary family without any stepmother or sisters there. But, she adored Cinderella more than another Disney princesses. Thirteen years ago, he met a guy.... and since that day, the guy became her secret escape.

:: Secret admiring is like a cotton candy, soft and dreamily sweet ::
I knew this boy, who was an eksintrovert and idealistic person. Having much confident, he unhesistantly threw things-that-look-important-in-people’s-eyes but uninterested him. He lived with his own ideology and never made mistakes... almost. Till one day, he met a girl who secretly admired him. And he pretended... not realizing anything, for years.

Time went by... these two teenagers grew up and finally, separation came unavoidably. Till the last minute on their school’s farewell party, the girl just kept silent while watching the boy went away. She had no courage to admit her feelings, and wondering whether the boy wanna made the first move. Sadly, it never happened. They moved to another town, writing their own story. The girl still treasured her feelings and the boy –perhaps– started to forget her.

:: Pile of letters that never sent, the art of secret admiring ::

Seven years later, the girl heard a news that the boy had officially belonged to someone else, linked with a bond that solidly fused, which united by God and came with His blessings. That day, the girl was heartbroken, wondering if only she had courage that day, will their fate changed?

We were just passersby... walking on the street to nowhere. It could have lasted forever. We slipped away... we were never there. Serendipity. If only we stayed... if only we waited. Just for a couple more minutes. That day.

And today is the day that –for 13 years– had become the only day she marked on her calendar, notes, annual alarm, even passcodes. Eventhough there was another charming man beside her for 4 years... her first love lingers still. But, her feelings are neither as strong nor demanded as before. When the time to leave her feelings behind comes, she was already prepared. So, it is the last reminder... cause the time to move on already came. Sayonara....
